Copy editing does not typically involve polishing the written material for publication. After copy editing, the content goes through a process called proofreading before it is ready to be published. The proofreader polishes the document. He or she typically reviews the material for typographical errors, e.g., with the text or formatting. Major changes are not usually made to the text unless the client requests developmental editing.
Olivia J. Scott can meet your proofreading needs for a fraction of the cost other proofreaders may charge. She can also perform developmental editing if needed. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
